El-Orouba farm started with biodynamic agricultural practices in the late 90s, marking it as one of the pioneering farms in biodynamic agriculture in Egypt. El-Oroba inspired other neighboring farms to do the same once they saw the resulting benefits of biodynamic agriculture. They saw how it brought back their ancient origins. According to Mohamed el Nagar the owner of the farm, cultivating their crops the way their ancestors used to made them feel more connected to their land.
